The image on my card today is a very special one from The Prairie Fairy.

It is priceless.

Literally, this image, The Winter Cottage from Prairie Fairy Designs does not have a price on it. It does NOT have a price for a reason.............& if you want to know the reason, then head on over to THIS POST here.

Basically, if you want the image, go and grab it form the above link (the download button is there) and then hop over to make a monetary donation of your choice to The Warrior Fund.

I have also placed this card on my Personal blog today to try to spread the word about The Warrior Fund!

I placed droplets of crystal effects on parchment paper the day before I compiled my card, to ensure that it was nice and dry so I could peel it off of there and attach it to my house with glue. Below are a few of the finer details.

Challenge #65 No black lines

Welcome Everyone, I'm Kelly and I'll be your Hostess for this new Challenge.
No Black Lines. Don't have a clue what that is, hopefully this will help explain.

Here is the tutorial (somewhat) on no black lines you have been waiting for:

If you are using rubber stamps use a light colored Memento Ink or Adirondack Ink, like light blue or yellow, pale gray works too! These ink pads are only necessary if you are using Copics, if not than any light colored ink pad will work.

For digital stamps you have a few different options:

You insert a picture into MS Word 2007, you click the picture and it should activate the format tab on your screen. If not, open the format tab. On the far left of the screen you will see Brightness, Contrast, Recolor, etc. in the Adjust Mode. Click Recolor, a variety of choices will pop up. Go to Color Modes, you will have the selections of Grayscale, Sepia, Washout or Black and White. I choose Washout. An alternative is to go further down this choice selection to Set Transparency color and this works as well.

Don't let this new technique throw you, go out of your comfort zone and try it out! You may surprise yourself and you may find a new technique that you just love!

After I got my project started, Corry posted this site as her source of inspiration. Panic set in! 'This Little Piggy' was not on her list! So, call me rebellious, but I went with my original plan! Hey! This is Beverly with a quick mid-week post to say "hello." I'm enjoying the awesome projects y'all have been posting here at Fairy Fun Fridays. Our theme is "It's My Party" and it looks like lots of us love parties! My granddaughters (age 2 and 4) came over yesterday to "party" with me after church. They love to bake cookies and play dress up and just generally be wild and crazy. They came downstairs all dolled up in old dance costumes playing "pretend" and told me I had to "pretend I was the grandma." Nooooooo problem! LOL

We have a new Fairy to welcome to the group. Her name is Hannah Clark and you may have seen her around blogland. She is very talented and we are sooooo happy to welcome her to our team! You can see some of her work at her blog DELIGHTFULLY DISTRESSING. Stop by and say "hello."

# 47 Inspired by a song...

Happy friday everyone! I can tell you that I am so happy to see the weekend!

Before I announce some new changes to the challenge, I have some news. We are bidding farwell to our Princess Carla. She has decided to hang up her fairy wings and the fairy momma will miss her very much. Best of luck on your new endeavors Carla! Mwah!

The second bit of news is that the fairies in the meadow have all agreed to participate in running the challenge blog. Every one of the princesses are going to take turns hosting each challenge and the hostess will pick the winners. In order to give the girls time to pick their winners and such we are now going to be closing the linky 1 day earlier from now on.
